Durham recognized as premier Southern travel destination

"Enjoy the Southern hospitality and a high concentration of great food in North Carolina with a visit to Durham. This rapidly growing city seems to be in a perpetual state of construction but now is the time to visit for a taste of small town charm before it gets any bigger."

Bull City Burger and Brewery recognized for B Corp certification

"In the Triangle, pasture-raised, fresh ground beef and made-in-house beer has made Bull City Burger and Brewery one of Durham’s most popular restaurants since opening in 2011. It was so successful that the team opened a sister restaurant called Pompieri Pizza in early 2014. In February of the same year, Bull City Burger and Brewery became the first restaurant in the state to become a certified B Corp, and the first brewpub in the US."

Virgin Atlantic Profiles Seth Gross from Bull City Burger and Pompieri

"A new restaurant in Durham, North Carolina, is turning up the heat on pizza pies by taking a fine-dining approach to this oft-believed-to-be-anything-but cuisine. Pompieri Pizza, under the guidance of Chef-Owner Seth Gross, make everything they use on their pizzas in-house, using locally sourced ingredients from farmers, ranchers, food purveyors and mills as close to home as possible."

Durham's Pompieri Pizza Earns Four Star Review

"And what a crust it is. A few words on a tabletop sheet can’t begin to do justice to Pompieri’s thin, heat-blistered crust. At once crisp and satisfyingly chewy, it’s the foundation for a range of toppings from classic margherita to the unctuous extravagance of diced pork belly, cracklings, roasted garlic and a “porky red sauce” enriched with still more pork belly (in pureed form).
