Durham Art Gallery Owner Profiled by Arts Now

"Artist Bill Koeb likes randomness, the “unintentional and unnecessary in a work.” Elements of his work begin with stories, like the time he saw a hawk fly in front of an 18-wheeler to grab something off the road. “That was the most amazing thing ever,” he says. That random incident inspired him to take photos of the road and produce drawings."

—"An artists' inspiration: Bill Koeb," Alex Thomsen, Arts Now
